Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center (formerly Rescate Animal Zoo Ave)
Rescate Animal Zooave is a wildlife rescue center, sanctuary and conservation breeding center in Alajuela, Costa Rica. In 2019 they rescued over 2,700 animals, many of whom were released back into the wild. They also maintain a Life-time Care Sanctuary that houses over 800 non-releasable native animals (sloths, monkeys, jaguar, tapir, mountain lions, coyotes, and many species of birds.
