Project purpose:
Free to be Wild is a wildlife rehabilitation centre and sanctuary in Bulawayo. We are a non-profit organisation that specialises in the rehabilitation of primates but have a vast array of previous successful releases from pangolins to serval cats.
As a non-profit organisation that relies solely on donations from the public. All animals in our care are rescues and have not been purchased from any organisation. Our goal is rehabilitaion and release back into the wild.

Accommodation:
Volunteer Village - three adjacent rooms. 2 Single and 1 Double rooms with mosquito nets, lockup trunk (bring own locks), bedding included and a spare blanket for each bed.
When does the project run?
All year
Facilities:
accommodation included, food included, cooking facilities, local shops, hot shower, western toilet. Lighting is solar powered with one light inside in each room and one outside each door. No plug sockets inside the rooms. There are two bathrooms with a toilet, basin and gas geyser shower. There is a kitchen and lounge area that is fully equipped to prepare and cook all meals. Gas fridge/freezer, 4 plate glass stove and small oven. All room lights are solar powered.
How long can I stay?
Ideally a min of 2 weeks, max 3 months.
