Working with rescued elephants from Bangkok, participants care for the elephants and help to ensure they have a peaceful and restful life in the sanctuary. A wildlife sanctuary is located on the same site, home to primates, bears, birds and more.

The accommodation within the sanctuary is comfortable but basic.

How long can I stay?

1-12 weeks

Requirements:

  • General level of fitness is required as work can be hard in the heat. 
  • Participants must be 18+.

Details of the day-to-day life on the project:

One week - $1169
Two weeks - $1461
Each additional week - $293

Daily tasks include feeding, maintenance, hands-on elephant care and enrichment.
